Join us for a thoughtful conversation on the topic of "What's Working in Education in Milwaukee" among some of the city's foremost experts. Alan Borsuk (Senior Fellow in Law and Public Policy at Marquette Law School) will moderate the panel discussion. Panelists include Renae Aldana (Shareholder, Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson & Vliet, LLC), Colleston Morgan (Executive Director, City Forward Collective), Erin Richards (Director of strategic partnerships and newsroom development at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel), Judith Romelus (Director, Institute for the Transformation of Learning, Marquette University), and Jodi Weber (Chief Executive Officer, Seeds of Health, Inc.). Doors will open at 7:45AM. The panel is scheduled to begin at 8:00AM. Street parking is available. Coffee and pastries will be served by Tenor High School students from the Cathedral Cafe.

Join MMAC and Michael Best to learn more about an EPA measure negatively impacting SE WI

A recent ozone air quality classification change leveled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will negatively impact the business environment in southeastern Wisconsin – areas encompassing all of Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties as well as portions of Washington, Waukesha, Racine, Sheboygan and Kenosha counties. The irony: 90 percent of the ozone levels triggering this reclassification originate across state lines and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources lacks authority to regulate these emissions.
