The Friends of the Domes is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) established in 1989. By sharing our appreciation and understanding of habitats that sustain our world, we foster an environment where everyone can experience unique worldwide plant collections in a natural setting.The Friends of the Domes mission is to promote and support the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes) and surrounding park by creating and enhancing the visitor experience of this globally significant urban destination. We directly channel resources that make possible many of the educational and cultural programs held at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory. Our support complements, but is separate from the support provided by Milwaukee County.
